Hello,
I know this has been asked before, but I’ve searched many web sites and reviews and I’m still confused. So, I’ve narrowed it down to Hostmonster, Bluehost, and Lunarpages. I’m a pretty technical guy, but I’m looking for a reliable web host for multiple domains that some will use databases. I’m not so concerned about a "simple" web site creator, as opposed to one that follows the HTML & CSS standards. I was going to go with 1&1 after seeing their huge ads in PC Magazine until I read the reviews. Thus, I’m not so concerned about cheap, just a service that is reliable, professional, and popular. In other words, what service would a developer recommend and use?
Thanks,
Brett
This is what concerns me: http://www2.jeffcroft.com/blog/2006/feb/27/11-internet-is-the-devil/.
And then I just happened to stumble across DreamHost: http://www.dreamhost.com/aboutus.html. They are employee-owned, which in and of itself impresses me about a company. Any customer reviews on this company?

Hi, I am a web developer who needs help fast. I have a web site ready to go, but I seem to have problems deciding which web hosting solution is right for me. My site contains only dhtml, and javascript for now. I plan on doing much advanced things later on. Maybe some coldfusion and even php. Some web hosting companies I have in mind are: IXwebhosting, hostmonster, and godaddy. Can someone help me. Again some details may be needed to get a better solution. Please ask. Thanks!
Control Panel? Damn, I have seem the CPanel and I like it a lot. Other companies, however, offer something call Hsphere, and one call VDeck.. Can someone tell me which one is the best one. I am looking for something very user friendly, and realabile. Thanks

Where can I find an affordable web hosting and site designer for a simple artist’s gallery? I would like to display paintings in a simple, yet elegant background setting without moving pieces. I have sample sites which I have visited that I would like to replicate. I have joined Yahoo Site Builder but none of the templates are suitable. I am looking at positing thirty paintings and would require them to be protected from fraudulent and unauthorized copying. Can anyone make a receommendation?
